Tolton Motorsports has a long history in competitive racing dating back to 1984 when Bobby Tolton’s father Tim began racing endurance and street stock races. Over the last decade Tolton Motorsports has fielded entries for both Bobby and Tim in multiple divisions from local home-track racing to provincial touring series. Bobby has hopes of a full schedule with the OSCAAR Modified series while Tim currently competes full time in the Sportsman Cup series. Both divisions that travel to short tracks across the province.The
Tolton family has deep roots in the racing community. It is of high relevance for us maintain the family involvement in the sport. It is meant to be enjoyed by all equally. Whether it be in the shop preparing the car, at a car show representing the team and partners, or camping out on race weekend. Bobby Tolton was raised around the racing community and showed great interest at an early age working along side his father Tim. Bobby’s first trip to the track was at the age of 6 months. Beginning racing himself at the age of 12 where his success and involvement has grown from.
Bobby and Stephanie have pledged to continue the family involvement and welcomed their son Chase into the world on Sept 5th, 2013. They went on to compete in the prestigious Rick Woolner Memorial race, camping for the weekend at Varney Speedway only a week and a half later.
Our family does not only consist of blood relatives, but also of many others who are welcomed to the Tolton group with open arms. There is a multitude of people that make the wheels spin each and every week, but everyone has their part in keeping the respectable reputation Tolton Motorsports has worked many years to achieve.
Are you new to OSCAAR? We invite you to attend our races and enjoy the excitement of the Outlaws in action. The Ontario Stock Car Association of Asphalt Racers (OSCAAR) features the OSCAAR Outlaw Super Late Models, Ontario’s premier stock car racing series.
The Outlaws have a unique body style and can boast the greatest horsepower of any Ontario stock car division. The unique Outlaw body style features a hood and nose combination which slopes to the ground on a steep angle, rear side panels which are flat and an alternative roof style. There is also allowance in the series for a larger spoiler at the back. Inside the car the chassis is offset to the left or drivers side which allows for better cornering on the oval tracks. The engine department has rules but the bottom line is that these Outlaw cars carry a lot of horsepower. The overall result is plenty of action and excitement on the track!
